The Publishing Company of North America, Inc. Announces Agreement with Internet Stock Market Resources, Inc.
LAKE HELEN, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 29, 1999--The Publishing Company of North America, Inc. (Nasdaq:PCNA - news) today announced that on behalf of its wholly owned subsidiaries, PCNA Communications Corporation and Attorneys Online, Inc., it has entered into a twelve-month agreement with Internet Stock Market Resources, Inc. (OTC BB:ISMR - news), to disseminate its information to the investment community beginning July 15, 1999.

According to ISMR, it was formed to take advantage of the growing number of online companies and to disseminate their information to potential investors within the financial community. ISMR is an information exchange and web destination aimed at investors, researchers, analysts, brokers, and media to obtain rapid up-to-date information on small cap emerging companies. Located on the World Wide Web at internetstockmarket.com, ISMR is a content provider for Time Warner Communications' Web TV financial page and later in 1999 also will be premiering Nowtrade.com, its online trading with a full service Broker/Dealer.

Under the agreement, ISMR shall feature pertinent information about PCNA on its site and will link directly to PCNA's new legal portal and America's Legal Super Store(TM). In providing information about PCNA, ISMR will link directly to ''About Us'' on PCNA's legal portal, which provides information about PCNA's management team, products and services, and investor related information including press releases and frequently asked questions. ISMR will also distribute information about PCNA via e-mail to its proprietary database of over 18,000 self-subscribed investors interested in under-valued or small cap emerging companies. PCNA's future press releases also will be sent to ISMR's database of small cap investors.

Commenting on its agreement with ISMR, Peter S. Balise, President and Chief Executive Officer of PCNA stated, ''We're looking forward to working with ISMR as they will help us disseminate our story to the financial community. ISMR has also provided us several introductions to full-service investor relations firms servicing small cap companies. As we further expand our Internet strategy and the products and services we offer, we understand the importance of telling PCNA's story. We plan to do so in a cost-effective manner that we believe will benefit our company and our shareholders.''

The Publishing Company of North America, Inc., and its wholly owned subsidiaries, PCNA Communications Corporation and Attorneys Online, Inc. are integrated full service providers of specialty publishing for bar associations nationwide. While having focused principally on print directories and related products and services, PCNA and its subsidiary companies are aggressively pursuing its online strategy of providing goods and services to the legal profession.

Jeff . . . I truly think your thread here is one of the best on SI. In fact, I have now only been posting here and on specific stock threads.

I like your idea of having different categories by price, but I have mixed feelings about excluding sub-.10 cent stocks. I expect that my future picks will be over .10 cents so it won't affect me directly (both my winning picks were over .10 cents), however, some very legitimate companies are below .10 cents. For example, JNNE was below .10 cents not too long ago. We all could think of many others. On the other hand, many sub-.10 cent stocks are junk. In fact, maybe the majority are junk. Such is my dilemma.

I would offer three possibilities. The first possibility is to have a sub-.10 cent stock category and those who wish to participate can do so at their own risk. Others can choose not to participate. The second possibility is to exclude sub-.05 cent stocks. Most the recent garbage has been below .05 cents. The third possibility is not to have a sub-.10 cent category and if someone else feels strongly about it he/she can start a new thread.

In the end you need to do what you feel comfortable doing. Follow your conscience. You have a great thread and if you think changes will make it better I support it.
