Jeff . . . this thread has been good to me. I look at the charts/graphs for each of the entries and each day I have been able to find one or two very good ones. Today the graphs of CCGI looked best (up 40%). The graphs for yesterday's pick of IHTL looked good (up another 20% today). Three days ago I liked the graphs for DYGN and while it dipped for two days it now has come back and looks poised to move higher than when it was picked.

This is not to say that other picks are not good. Some picks are news or event driven and the graphs cannot always account for such things. I just thought I would share what has been working for me.

Katie K.

Jeff,

Regarding your concerns about the thread: I think the enforcement of the SEC of reporting requirements is going to take a lot of the risk out of the pennies. As far as front running, insider P & Dumping, and all the rest...well, we know all about that. Really, I think you are expressing your concern for those that stumble into this type of investment gambling without having paid their tuition fees. And that is quite valid; which is why I believe your cautionary statements have been so appropriate.

On the other hand, I don't think there are dividing lines between good and bad stocks or investments. Is the .07 stock bad today because it is under a dime, and good tomorrow when it is .12?? Your thread has been extremely useful for profiling and encapsulating the rumours, the news, etc. and a great starting point for DD.

My personal preference would be to see a cautionary cut and paste on all your listings (although I know it is extra work for you, not us). :)

I don't think it is useful to eliminate any stocks from the parade. Some $20.00 stocks are garbage, and are getting ready for the fall, and the dump by insiders that are selling off before earnings come out; and so on and on.

Just my opinion. You can only do so much to protect others. In Vegas, once you reach a certain age, and you got money in your pocket--the doors are open.

Whatever the consensus is, I believe your thread will remain an important and appreciated part of SI for a large number of people.
