Vitas, by the way ...

I was 98% cash until this afternoon. Now I'm close to zero percent cash. Then, I'm a trader by heart and for me to be 98% cash for over a week is really tough. Nevertheless, I play a Bet the Bank game and I can and have moved to to cash again in a manner of nano-seconds.

I really look forward to IBM's earnings report next week and how the market places the spin on them. To me, that will supply a big piece of the missing piece of the puzzle. Last week, in a single transaction, an entity bought and an entity sold $207M dollars of GE in one transaction. It was really humbling when I realize that I'm dealing in a position with a decimal and a lot of zeroes before that figure.

Vitas: I keep looking at this '73, '81, '87 trendline "breakout" on the Barnes Market Risk Index

There is no doubt this Market is at high risk. No one should go long and then go on vacation. But, there is money to be made in them there manias...just don't take your eyes off the ball...<g>

LG

Vitas: I have not used the Risk index so I could not really comment on this indicator.

Log vs Semi-log: I believe that it is the same thing being called different names. The difference between LG's charts, mine and L3's charts are minimal, and I think it is software induced.

There is no doubt in my mind that we are at a critical point here, and many indicators are saying this same thing. All we can do is wait and see. Either we break out from here or we go lower. And either way could be violent.

Regards,

Jaime
