on Beaches Qualcomm is to wireless what California is to coastline, beaches, babes, surfing, you name it... cannot touch Calif, Pebble Beach, Big Sur, Mendicino... will visit a 4th time when I am a quillionaire North Carolina is a really really nice GSM... does have fantastic unspoiled beaches, best on east coast north of Florida just yanking you Calif sandsnobs my guess of S&P index funds needing to buy 6 million shares was not far off... answer is about 9.3 million shares... looking forward to THE DEATH MARCH OF THE SHORTS / jw

OT.OT! Hey, people, I am glad you like it back east and in the middle west. God knows, we don't need more people out here! My son just paid 270K last weekend for a 1400 square foot, 4 bedroom, in Mission Viejo on a 4000 square foot lot! It had been on the market 4 days, and there were 4 offers made at that price! We are so short housing that we are back in the '70's frenzy. He had to buy, because a 3 bedroom in that area is RENTING for $2600 a month! If it gets any worse, we will go back to a '30s style border patrol, and you guys will have to swim the Colorado to get in here.
