Mqurice, did you mean I was rude to RMiethe?? I was merely asking a question whether he has gone bonkers. I did not actually claim he was bonkers, although a possibility was expressed implicitly. I even checked my old mail to verify this (surprisingly enough it had not "disappeared" this time).

And, for the record, it was him who called the other guy imbecile. AFTER which he claimed scepticism was not for investors but for old men playing chess in the park.

BTW I couldn't believe nobody challenged this view. Were you all others out there nodding your head rhythmically at your screens: "yes, we should not be sceptic"? Hmmm… that explains a lot that I have seen on this thread.

Or maybe it was that you guys didn't know what "sceptic" was and you mixed it with "septic"? No wonder you agreed with RMiethe so readily.

However, MSWord gives the following synonyms:

doubter
cynic
dissenter
questioner
unbeliever
disbeliever

Aren't these some of the very basic qualities of an investor?
