Before , I thought HG was merely self-serving, after the column attempting to compare Irridium to IDTC, I question his intelligence. Anyone with a modicum of intelligence knows that Irridium is selling a new product at a very expensive price that few can afford. IDTC is selling a very well known product to billions of people at a price cheaper than just about anything- the most laughable comparison I have ever seen by a "financial Journalist". Poor man, he just keeps digging himself in deeper and deeper. I suspect his days at the street.com are numbered.
BTW HG , if you read this, thanks for the extra 50 shares of IDTC I was able to purchase by lightening up after your first column came out and then repurchasing the following day. Every little bit helps.

two articles in a row where hg compares idtc to an companies that have no comparisons to idtc, but hg infers they do. clearly hg has learned to apply sophistry in an attempt to kill another rally.

i can not remember the stock guru journalist who was discovered to actually being invested in the companies he wrote about and was eventually fired. i am not saying hg does this. sophistry.

A couple of things come to mind when I read this article. A guy who has to refer to the shareholders as "Idiots" must not have much confidence in himself or his ability convey to his readers the level of risk associated with a certain stock. If he did he would have no need to demagogue the shareholders as he would know he is right. Furthermore, to base a portion of his article on Internet posts is preposterous. When do you recall a respected journalist insulting people with a "guilt by association" judgment based on Internet posts. Does that mean he wont be right? Of course not! He has a chance to be right as do the believers that IDTC is a good buy at these levels. At this point however, even if he is right he has opted to take the low road which detracts from any credibility he has or may have with the investment community. The use of insults to describe shareholders is similar to an uneducated man who fires off personal attacks to gratify himself when he is no longer able to debate with knowledge.

i'm not an investor (this moment) but i read TSCM's article and hope everyone cancels their subscription/ask their providers to cancel (if they get it for free, as in E*Trade's case). Comparing IRID with IDT is one of the most profound things i ever heard. I follow both companies and it just makes me sick to hear this guy bitching about a company is seems to know nothing about. The best thing is to short TSCM, but the problem is that they cut deals with others and end up at your door. well, there has to be a stop to it.
This guy owns a lot of shares --would love to see TSCM @ zero (0,000.000000000000). ROFLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
