keith, i think our model portfolio of buy and hold is the tops on Silicon...We are over 80% return in less than 1 1/2 months...I don't think Jenna's clients are getting that rate of return or any Wall Street investment firm..However, I must say, I am not enjoying the fruits of my labor, since I am a trader..Maybe I should switch to buy and hold..With a full-time job, I can't keep trading in and out of our model portfolio stocks..Finally, if this thread becomes on the hot topics again on Silicon, I am going to disappear for a while until things cool off... Here is our buy and hold Model Portfolio..Each week I give one stock, and the buy range.....You are to buy 1000 shares of the stock given in the suggested buy range, no higher... 1st Week of June= MCOM buy in 9.50-10.00 area 2nd Week of June= TRID buy in 8.00-8.50 area 3rd Week of June=TIE buy in 9.00-9.50 area 4th Week of June=TMAR buy in 6.75-7.25 area 1st Week of July=VIAS buy in 4.50-5.00 area 2nd Week of July=VRTL buy in 2.50-2.78 area Looks like AERL which was on our Watch list exploded yesterday.. For one day, I did not have it on my real-time system, and then it moves... Anyway, here is our 1 1/2 month portfolio update We will use the highest price on the buy range MCOM Buy at 9500.00 TRID Buy at 8500.00 TIE Buy at 9500.00 TMAR buy at 7250.00 VIAS buy at 5000.00 VRTL buy at 2780.00 Total Invested=$42,530 Total Value as of today=$76,980 Total percent return=80%.... Now where in the investment world can you get 80% on your money in 1 1/2 months....These are all low risk picks...
