Evol- Emate? Price drops on earnings because-

The price is the Expectation of ALL future earnings, out as far as the analyst can see.

So beating expectations is considered a "blip", while missing estimates is a sign management doesn't know what it is doing.

I think many were expecting P1 to be ready to ship by MacWorld, and that may have been pushed back. So people may question if Apple can produce them.

My estimates were for about 0.67 based on higer revs and lower margins. Since Mr. "I wish I had held my stock!" Cook seems to be slashing production costs of iMacs below what I figured... THAT'S GOOD in my little version of reality. I think they can make P1s, cheap, and I want one. I'll pay $1400, or buy a Lombard. Lots of folks I know want one. As long as they are available by Christmas, I think life will be good.

You can't beat a dip before MacWorld! Options... well, that's just Friday. Let's see what's up next week!
