trust you didn't liquidate any investments to purchase this depreciating asset

LOL Frank....

Heck no I didn't liquidate for the speakers. But the other day I did liquidate some small, short term positions in an effort to consolidate. I am planning on putting it in the Q, but I am waiting until after this month because there is a possibility I might need to dip into that account to pay the bills. I also have been antsy to sell my DELL, but I am having a hard time pulling the trigger.

But I have some really big problems with the PC industry right now. First, it was the sub $1000 computer, then the sub $500 computer, and now it is the free computer. The only condolance I have for this madness is knowing that DELL isn't big in the consumer area. Yet. Decisions decisions....

Please don't laugh <vbg> but I really would appreciate the Groups feedback as to whether the new Patent that AHWY just received could possible enable it to become a Gorilla in the portable music (internet based) market? Oh yea, they signed a nice agreement with MSFT today as well...

AudiohighwayDOTcom (NASDAQ:AHWY - news) jumped $3.56 to $24.69 this morning on news that it won a patent for its portable digital audio player that could lead to millions of dollars in *royalties from companies that make the devices. The patent, for which audiohighway applied in 1995, covers any digital audio player used to store and play back downloaded content, regardless of the electronic format in which the content is saved*. About 1 million digital audio players are expected to be sold this year, and the patent means audiohighwayDOTcom's royalties could be a big boost for the company, even at $1 a unit.

Now doesn't this story line sound familiar???
