CAMERAs - This subject came up on the Canoeing thread after I saw an ad for the Pronea S... never did get around to doing more research though. If anyone has one, has used one, etc... I'd be curious to know what they think of it.

Anyhow, this is where the discussion begins... with a little comic relief on the part of the BMFM...(-:

My experience with small 35mm cameras is that they don't last very long. three years or so. So figure on spending more like $150 to get good features. A zoom is imo over the top. Go for a good-quality lens and a working exposure meter. Built-in flash is a good thing - most of our photos are now flash-fill.

I know you gotta spit on the flash bulb before you put it in. That and I'm having trouble finding 120 film.
