While he didn't mention the providing companies, Michael Eisner, CEO of Disney, stated the same conclusion on an CNBC interview earlier this week. He was on explaining why Disney did the GO.Com/infoseek deals. He said, and I paraphrase, that when bandwidth hits, a large percentage of Disney's products, (movies, etc.) will be delivered that way. He further said it was imperative for big players to take a position now, BEFORE the method of delivery changes. It's somewhat reassuring to see somebody putting huge amounts of cash up front now, waiting for LVLT, et al to deliver. Doug
