I agree. I thought the caller asked a perfectly legit question which Bob misconstrued as confrontational. Let's face it, Da Brink doesn't like criticism, real or perceived. But that's okay, I can handle a few human foibles in return for his uncanny big picture market insights.

Pete, I had some of the same impression you had though maybe to a lesser extent. As to AAPL I don't know about holding it for many years but I did identify with his comments since I bought a little at 26 when Microsoft made their investment and I decided they would no longer be in a death spiral. I rode it down to 13 suppressed any impulse to take a tax loss and now I've got a double in less than two years. Surprise surprise I happen to be using a Mac
