It's great to see that there are at least some of the "long term" EIDSY-fans left on this board!
I think many of you were tempted to take profits like I did and are now puzzled why this stock is so strong. I really have no fundamental explanation for this high valuation besides the fact that some institutions seem to think that EIDSY is another ERTS. EIDSY is on the right track, but they still have way to go before they really are equal to ERTS.
Regarding EIDSY products: Can anyone give me the sales numbers of EIDSYs relaunch of TR2 (now called TR2 Gold)? My impression over here in Germany is, that sales are way below the numbers of TR1 Gold last year. It's likely that already every gamer has his copy of TR2, so the demand for this budget title is low. Last year it was another situation: Many gamers who haven't played TR1 before bought TR2 and after finishing this title they were tempted to also buy TR1 as Lara's previous adventure.
At this point of time EIDSY has no products in the top 10. Commandos - Beyond the call of duty is at # 18, TR3 is no longer among the top 20 titles, the same is true for Warzone 2100 and EIDSYs latest product Official Formula One Racing is a flop (they paid millions for the official license and then produced such a mediocre game).
Legacy of Kain - Soul Reaver is delayed (I better not talk about "Delaykatana" ;-), maybe we won't see this products in shelves this millenium!).
Given these factors, I can't see how EIDSY will post strong quarterly numbers.
My strategy on EIDSY is still "Wait and see!" Despite the high valuation I can't short this stock. I've way too much respect in this company and the employees I personally know to take a short position on EIDSY. As a "Lara-holic", I love EIDSY, I ask you: How on earth can I short a stock that I still love?

Kai

P.S.: That doesn't mean that I don't like other entertainment companies. My actual turnaround favourite and preferred investment in this area is IPLY (I also own some ATVI for the long term).
