X, as the originator of the Grammar thread, let me say that I too do not like to see "it" creep over here. <g> And let me add that any thread, at any given time, reflects the particular people who are posting to it, and that includes the Grammar thread. There are folks who like to play (but only play) Mom, there are those who just love language, etc., etc. Come post to the thread yourself; you may be pleasantly surprised! :-) Joan
