Is there anything to LCOS other than buyout rumors ?? Re eBay. You know I was shorting that earlier. But not now. I am very surprised it has not turned up along with auction counts and better system reliability. It must be responding to a different metric than auction counts. I think eBay is reflecting expectations of reduced sequential earnings. If that is really the case, then buying ebay ahead of Q3 earnings will be a big winner. Especially if they overload the expenses on Q2, since it is a down quarter, anyway.
