david--

unbelievable! when i called our guy at SSB yesterday, i told him to buy Sept contracts then hung up. since i of course did not believe you<G>, i just called him and he told me he bought in AUGUST (which really pisses me off) and oct.

i also told him to start selling the aug contracts. i guess thats what i get for not checking the CBOE before calling<G>.

now, lets not get into that forever bull/bear crap again. you know that i am a buyer of MU at a certain price. unfortunately, as has been the case for YEARS, MUs operations simply can not support a valuation like the current one. if it was in the low 20s, my strategy would be opposite of current.

what I can not believe is that after all these years (and in investing time it has seemed like a decade<G>) we are all still playing this company. its like some kind of ersatz reunion everytime i post to this thread<G>.

good luck to all,
trey

DavidG: re "...but whoever sold them to you sold you a pig in a polk since the Sept PUTs aren't available yet.

"A pig in a poke"

An offering that is foolishly accepted without being looked at first. A poke is a bag or pouch and is the origin of the word pocket - a small pouch - source: Phrase Finder
