Keith, sorry to pop in, but regarding trending "over-bought" stocks: have you used the Direction Movement Indicator, especially the +Di line being above the -Di line as a useful "hold" indicator?

>>>because a couple of indicators told you it was overbought.<<<

That portion of your statement is what I'm still trying to figure out on the indicator charts...

Candlesticks are pretty good but the other indicators don't always coincide...

Guess that's where MD and gut feel come into play...

Keith

Curious to know what period length you use for the ADX indicator ? Thought I would ask the question on the thread , since the discussion at the present time , is about indicators anyways. And I thought that your answer may interest others also, who may be interested in using the ADX to find out if a stock is trending or not. As always thanks for sharing your knowledge with others .

Best Regards

Duane Crooks

Ki Keith, bought NLC/T at 1.42.Company making money but getting hammered because of relationship with Waste Management in US (I guess).Wonder if you have any comments on co. Spoke to them and of course they say everything on track, etc.etc.etc.I remember you mentioning them in the past. Seems like a pretty good entry point, just took small position to see which way price goes. Sold SKG today at 23, bought on Monday at 18.5. Take care John B.
