(OT) Re AHWY's patent: From a quick read of the patent excerpt previously posted, one might easily believe that the description was of a pre-1996 Mac laptop or PC-type laptop with optional sound card. With the appropriate software, either machine could be construed as a portable (albeit not hand-held) device for playback of music downloaded from the internet. Seems to me that it might be a rough go for AHWY to claim infringement on their patent by any and all devices capable of downloading and playing digital music files. JMHO.
