Don Green over on the gold thread.. whenver he pounds his chest about RMBS going up and about gold dropping.. we invariably see some sort of selloff in RMBS and a rally in gold. FWIW... this indicator has successfully worked about 6 of 7 times over the past year.

Girlfriend indicator gives sell signal today! A woman that I date was bragging to me today of her gains in the mkt. She has a CD that matures tomorrow & plans to dump it all into highflying tech stocks. She is a wonderful person, very sexy, intelligent, warm, and supportive, but not much of a financial analyst or stock trader. I am certain, however, that her sentiments are representative of a large segment of the investing population... we are near a major top... bought some puts on MER and EBAY today. I realize that this is anecdotal, but I have had far greater success trading with anecdote and gut feeling than I have with analysis in this market. AA
