Charles,

A few weeks ago I decided to invest in some sure win products-

1. Rambus
2. K7
3. Foveon (NSM)

#'s 1 and 3 have already taken off, and #2 will soon. K7 is a no-brainer for success.

Chuck - RE: "On the other hand, if you heard the Intel conference call, Paul and Andy clearly in control of the situation - to the point that they got away with blatant lie of calling competition related weak results a "seasonally weak quarter"."

That is how Atiq spoke - in control and no cheap shots.

Eckhard Pfeiffer for AMD President and CEO - Chuck, RE

<<what they need more urgently is someone who can contain Jerry.>>

This man will do.

Inspirational -- track record of making Compaq a 2 billion company into 30 billion giant;

Industry veteran and high visibility

Available,

In fact, hiring this man will solve all problems if they hire internally.

The only hurdle is whether Jerry have enough guts and tolerance to co-exist with a man with much larger stature.

It would be a great hire!
