I was just looking for the book that does the construction estimating, but we started packing, and I can't find it. I remember I got it from the library, once, so maybe you can, too, and I know I've seen it at Borders. Yes, it does have a table of multipliers for different regions, by city and state, and it has a diskette, too. Are you thinking of putting on a second story? I have a lot of really neat books on remodeling, I got to help me conceptualize when house-hunting, as to which houses could be built onto easily, and which not. Fine Homebuilding has a wonderful series, again you can get them at the library or the bookstore. Any really good suburban library should have them all, I would expect, because everyone wants to remodel their house, it's a national pastime.
