I don't know about you-I did all my shopping last year on the Web! I don't go near a mall at Xmas. Broadband can't come fast enough for me. The information you can get about a product online is potentially much better than the info you can get from someone working part time for minimum wage at a store. The only thing that is needed to get the masses to accept shopping online is better, larger and faster graphics. It also helps to have "one click" paying like Amazon and Etoys. I do need to check out iMall. I have a feeling they (ATHM) were feeling a little pressure from Geocities/Yahoo and Hypermart/GNET to tap into that revenue stream. I've never been too impressed with the look and feel of these sites....but you have to see them for what they could be in a few years. Who would have thought that Yahoo would have become such a content center three years ago?
