For several months I have been more comfortable with amzn than yhoo. The advertising
model concerns me. It is easier for me to visualize amzn having sales of 50 billion in 10
years, than what yhoo will be in 10 years. Still, lets imagine that in a general market
debacle or for whatever reason, yhoo slides to 120 again. I can see yearly e of 2.50 in
2001, making it really very cheap on a good dip like that. I will wait for 135 and start
adding for the long run.

Gene,

I feel the same way.

The Geocities merger diluted operating margin all the way to 32! So now Microsoft and Yahoo are about tied again! :)
