DJBEINO,

You seem to know a lot about UMC and others. I would like to know about the earnings of UMC and its revenue so I/we can judge its price action and its price projection. I know in Japan most shares are highly priced in comparison to U.S. standards of P/E multiples, I don't know if in Taiwan they have the same case.

N.S.

Alliance will earn .07 per share from USC alone.

S3 announced earnings today and received $3,066,000 from USC.
S3 currently owns 15.75% of USC. Therefore, ALSC should receive $2,939,467 from USC, (they currently own 15.1%).

$2,939,467 divided by 41 mil shares = .0716 per share.

(note: ALSC is earning almost double of that in Q1 which was 1.6 mil)
