As good as this company has done over the last few years, I firmly believe their best years are ahead of them and they will actually accelerate growth from here.

A couple points from the call:

1. Record bookings and visibility as they enter Q3
2. Largest R&D sponsorship projects in the co. history are underway
3. 350 design wins, now have 700 for the year, 75% of total 1998
4. Q3 outlook for continued strong sequential growth and high GMs
5. T1/E1 was actually the fastest growing segment this Q

Estimates will go up tomorrow and analysts will pound the table.

Congrats to all the engineers, management, and employees at PMC - they are quite simply kicking ass and showing no signs of letting up. They are and will continue to be, one of the premier pure play Comm IC companies in the world.

CNBC mentioned PMC-Sierra's earnings as their final highlight of their earnings segment and showed a stock price growth graph from just before October '98 where the low was like $11-12 all the way up to $70 and said "this is a chart of beautiful growth by this company" and talked about one analyst's target price of $70 from a month or two ago. They went on to mention that in after hours trading PMCS was up to 71 1/2.

Drake, I echo your sentiments to Bulldozer and Trader Dave. PMCS is my best performer YTD, and I stuck through the doubtful times a few months ago because of all the logical, unemotional information on this thread. Hope you guys keep sharing your insight. Thank you.
