russet,
Now that is totally unfair and small minded.....perhaps you and gemsearcher would like a little further insight into why I am bearish on the stock price(not necessarily the projects)?....I will assume you do...putting discussions on risk factors such as country, politics, geography, economics and management decisions etc. aside, without going into a long winded "market gestalt", basically, the brokerage industry is in the business of selling stock...apart from IPO's, if any small or intermediate cap public company doesn't need and isn't doing a financing (issuing more stock), the brokerage houses and their analysts are not interested in covering, promoting or writing up the company, however, as they are in the stock selling business, they will allow their client's to margin other shares to buy what ever they are currently selling....this usually leads to selling the margined stock to pay for the latest purchase....sometimes the house can take a position contrary to their clients and borrow their clients stock for a short sale....this can occur when the stock that is being short sold by the house has been margined by clients for other purchases(ie. where SUF would be part of a "basket" of marginable shares that money has been borrowed against)...talk about a double dip eh:-)).....other situations are when brokers and traders recognize "market or share price vulnerability", such as when option payments made with stock are expected to hit the market on the offer side (both the reality and perception are important here).....other facets of reality are the notes to the financial statements in the annual report.....I could go on and on and on, but we all have our own market experience, perception and knowledge....fudamentally, we are all in the market because we have an expectation to make a profit.....there are many many factors affecting the outcomes....I do know that the avarice of the brokerage community knows no bounds....consequently, I happen to appreciate that sometimes they eat their own children....and at this point in time, it appears that both SUF and its shareholders are on the menu:-))
regards,
teevee
