PPI & CPI : Just What the Stock Doc Ordered...Over the last few days, we have been treated to further examples that all is well in inflation land. Would you ever have believed a doubling in oil prices, increased medical cost passthroughs, a blistering retail economy and an overheated housing market would produce absolutely zero inflationary pressures?

...From around the world and up your street...In other events, we find it interesting to note that New Zealand's CPI equivalent was released today and the number was .5% (this is for the three months ended June).  Quite a difference from the good old USA.  Analysts believe the New Zealand Reserve Bank will increase it's benchmark rate 50 basis points before the year is out.
