I have sold some of my US mutual funds to get more of this one the past few months. This mutual fund, FJSCX, is not the blue chips of Japan! These companies represent the mom and pop companies in Japan, small companies with no exports to other countries for the most part.
I also like FJPNX, the other targeted country fund. The Blue Chips of Japan are in this other fund. I just checked and the NIKKEI average just broke thru the 18,500 level during todays trading.

Alert!

If you look in the last comments on the Fidelity Sector Funds Bulletin board, one will find some disturbing comments about the Japanese stock market and continuing rise in that beleaguerd economy.
Whether MoneyPenny's submission drawn from a financial extract will prove real or not long term, it certainly has negative implications for investors in Japan now.
Check it out.
