Finding a convenient source on the web does not make it so. Let's not forget that there are well-paid barbarians (wearing the latest Italian dry-clean-onlies!) out there who think that "incent" is a perfectly acceptable verb denoting the offering of an incentive. Good Grief. A "fictitious" anything is a chimera, a fantasy. You really wanted to say "fictional". Recant, Father, before the Cardinal pays real attention!
