ECN - Electronic Communication Network - as opposed to MMs (computer matched trades, limit orders cross internally, cannot be SOESed but can be Snet, will post best quotes on LII, order books often available for rt viewing)

ISLD, ATTN, REDI - all ECNs owned by various entities (like ISLD - Island originally wholly owned by Datek Securities - holding corp for the broker Datek Online, now Waterhouse and Paul Allen's VC fund own parts); there are several of them, and they all have slightly different profiles (f.ex. INCA is mostly used by institutions, and is big after hours, while ISLD caters more to retail traders, though all this is changing); ARCA/TNTO the trading software algorithm and ECN owned by Terra Nova, w/ investments by among others Goldman Sachs and Etrade.

T&S is the time stamp of trades that print by share size and price (often in your LII you can see in a column to the side, trades print by order size, price, and time - details depending on the software). These are not 100% reliable, as many trades are reported at different times than the actual time of execution, especially on large block orders which can be the result of a pre-arranged trade.

Hope this helps.
