FYI

I realize that knocking someone else is not going to put anymore money in my pocket, however, for some of those of you that have Apple on you minds...I heard on CNBC this afternoon that someone had downgraded Apple and one of the reasons was that they were behind in their shipments....Are they trying to do to much and getting behind on what they do the best...What ever that is?????

As pointed out before REAL is focused with streaming on it's mind.

Scott,
Appreciatte you stopping by today for several visits....Maybe things are going so smoothly now at Novell, you can kick your feet up for a few hours:

> As a broadcaster, since real has such a lead in market share, why
> would any broadcaster not stream in their format, eliminating
> nearly all the potential viewers.

But today, how many sites do you go to that offer Real and Microsoft formats ... I
don't see it as one vs. the other ... until the quality and features show that one is
superior ...
it's my understanding that even when you count all the sites and calculate market share, Real has held steady at 85%...We know that msft and aapl and others have increased their presence a lot in the last few months...that means that real has increased their presence by a greater amount in order to be flat in market share....no one is gaining at this point whichI think says a great deal.

his is why I felt bad when Real did the deal with Microsoft on Real support in the
Microsoft player ... Microsoft was trying to reduce the number of players on your
hard disk ... by eliminating the need for the RealPlayer!
Can you explain this? I am not following this reasoning.
Thanks and hope we see more of you.
