gbh, what stock are you talking about I wasn't sure which you meant???? Times & Sales is my holy grail as well..Wehne I get filled I put down even the minute of the fill as well as the price..This helps to know a) what time the stock opens in the morning sometimes it opens a few minutes after 9:30 or b) if its possible to set in a buy order right at the open if the stock has been trading up and has buyers lined up at the ask in pre-market.. c) There are times a stock OPTION won't open until 9:45 which is what happened today with my EXDS puts in the morning. d) what is the usual spread on this stock in the first 5 minutes of trading and will I lose if I put in a market order (which I almost always do)...

STMP.. I had no limit order but a Market buy for a block shares from 9:32 actually it was pretty big block a 35 15/16, I don't like to say usually although when I sell part and leave over about 300 I like to say to give an idea that you only need a small amount for a nice gain in an intermediate hold in a stock. (Last time I asked someone the amount they told me 5,000 and I was skeptical so now I just don't volunteer that information, except to say I almost never buy more than 10 calls of an option unless its dirt cheap like EXDS today). (there were plenty of buys that went through through 35 15/16) and then I bought another smaller block at 36 9/16 I think as late as 9:37. That's when I posted at SI at 9:45 the price was about 38, but still quite timely to get in.. I think I might have posted on SI at 9:40 and updated it 9:45.. that way I can get in a post just a tad before the trade actually goes through. I only do that with very fast movers like PHCM, DISH etc. saves about 2 or 3 valuable minutes.
