OT Warning: Pokemon! There's a word I never expected to see on this thread.

At lunch today, three of us with 9 year old kids could account for a collective 1,000 cards. (We were across the parking lot from a store with a sign advertising card packs for $4.99.)

I'm afraid that this could lead to a story twenty years from now about how my wife and I did something like my mother did twenty nine years ago when my brother left for college. She cleaned out his room and tossed eight years of comic books, including every (!) issue up to that date of Spider Man, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, the Avengers, and a few others in the Marvel Universe.

My brother believes that if he still had those comics, he could pay all of his four month old son's college education with them.

Personally, I'm hoping GSTRF will do the same for my daughter's.
