One less copper company is very good news for value investors, because we are the only ones who buy these dogs and we always lose money. If copper and steel stocks vanished from the face of the earth, value investors would outperform every year.

Here's one for the frustration hall of fame - I bought Cyprus for $11 or so last Novemeber and if I had just been patient for eight months I would have made a 40% gain on the takeout. But no, I sold it for $11 or so in February after watching it go to 9, then to 14, then back to 11. I can't even remember why I sold it - I just remember vowing never to buy a copper stock again.
