To all, I've bought a lot QWST and GBLX during recent uncertainty. Now their respective mergers have worked out, I wonder if LVLT is the next one making some noise. Looking at the chart, LVLT seems to have a fairly strong support at this level. Is it a good buy?

Thanks for the kind words.

I've also recently read about both Dell & Intel getting into
ISP. Both Michael Dell & Andy Grove have over a decade of stock performance to document their foresight.

IMO, neither of these companies are going into ISP now because they
see a vast fortune in providing 28.8-56k connections at $20. a month.
They too see a compounding growth rate in communications, and want to
position their companies to be in on the future. I don't know
what sort of processor power it takes, if any, to receive wide bandwidth communications. My GUESS is, people using wide bandwidth
in the future will be interested in communications, NOT how fast
their PC can mathematically model a DNA double helix. <g> So, both
Dell & Grove are diversifying into the next step of the communications revolution, rather than get left behind as a "mere box maker".

IMO, both folks that answered the gentleman's query about a good
time to buy LVLT hit the nail on the head... this is a long term
stock. If, like most people, one lives in a short-sighted world, this
may not be for you. Personally, I like investments I can buy & not
worry about on a daily basis. Just watch for any Major developments,
and let the short term fluctuations of the market become an
amusing diversion rather than a constant source of concern.

Just my opinion. (That & 50 cents will get you a cup of coffee, nothing more. <g>)
Regards,
Doug
