Sorry I don't have the url, but here's the text of a message posted on motleyfool from a supposed 3dfx insider:

Huh? Try Q3. Of course I may be in OEM cycles which are a little different. Try
August. In time for the magezine reviews.

Everyone will be toast. I was told yesterday that the NV10, nVidia's next
product, won't be out until much later. The magezine reviews will reflect the
newer part from 3dfx which will pounce TNT2.

Also: Tom's hardware's numbers on the web site suggest that a gamer on a P3
might want to get the TNT2 but any game using P2 or AMD chipsets will want a
V3 - the numbers are better. So, how many gamers are running out to buy P3's?
Not me. I don't need a better CPU for my games, I need a better display
adapter. And on my AMD or P2 (or P1 even), my games will run faster using a
V3 than a TNT2. Don't forget the pocket book: buy a P3 and a TNT2 OR buy
a V3?"

Coincidence? Maybe. But it's spooky how this guy seems to nail the announcement. Jeremy from agn3d said he is bringing a camera and a crew out to 3dfx to shoot the event. Several webmasters made a reference to "toy story" quality rendering. Where did the "toy story" reference come from? Did they get over excited and spontaneously invent it, or were they prompted by a reference from a 3dfx employee? Hmmmmmmm. I think what will be unveiled is a new approach to rendering geometry that will be unleashed sometime in the future (maybe next spring). Only a revolutionary improvement in 3d math calculations (not fill rate!) will allow "toy story" rendering. We'll see.
