Well, the first half hour is over so now Apple can start buying back stock with the SEC's approval!

Our archivist on the AOL board, Jon Kai, had an interesting post yesterday.

-----------
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
''Apple's at a peak right now,'' said CIBC Oppenheimer's James Poyner Jr. ''They are likely to see a plateau-ing of iMac shipments going forward and that is going to make the stock a lot less interesting.''

Poyner recently lowered his opinion on the stock to underperform from hold, citing a round of recent price cuts and a hotly competitive marketplace.

Poyner sees ''a better chance than not,'' that analysts will be paring estimates on Apple before too much longer.

the only problem is.............................this article is from 6 months ago.......... hehehehe........he also said that CPQ would be a better buy than apple at the time.....................this guy needs a serious adjustment in his job situation..........

one more thing, how do you downgrade from hold to underperform?????? when you've already done it six months ago????????..........
