pied--

i still have some of the position, but i am trading out of common and into calls (i have been a net buyer of 10s, seller of 5s and 7.5s). if it does go up, i will profit with a hell of a lot less capital at risk. if it doesnt, i still have a decent profit, and i can snowball with more shares at a lower price.

i have all the position i am going to have going forward, at least for right now. this is the strategy that has worked for me since october. i see no need to change it, mostly because i have seen no real change in WSTLs prospects. what they should do is ditch DSL to someone and focus on Conf+. however, that would probably leave most of senior management with nothing to do, so it will likely not get done.

good luck to all,
trey

pd: Technically, WSTL looks like it is going further down based on daily BB break (actually a couple of them).

What do you make of this in light of earnings ? If earnings were not out tomorrow, I think I would be long gone, but alas, I keep the faith.

Technical comments ? Earnings comments ? AOL/ Ameritech comments ?

Thx

Regards,

Dave
