AXC, Hi digger, unfortunately I can only point out the obvious on this one.

Volume on this scale triggered both the big runs of early January and early April. Broke some resistance yesterday. If it follows the patterns of the other runs and you put it in a loosely defined channel..it should move to the eights, based on peak over peak.

If it does that it will have broken the resistance areas in the 6 3/4 and 7 range.

If I was to play it it now for the short term, I'd put a trendline under it on the open/closes starting on June 14th and ride it 'til it fails.

AXC is very erratic in short term moves but when you back off you see a very nice upward bias.

Good luck. I have not followed AXC since the last time you mentioned it but it has always been a news driven stock, I assume that remains the case.
