randy, there are no simple answers in this game. You know that. With options it is always best to pick a profit point, and exit when you reach it. Making trading decisions within this framework in the options arena is the best single strategy that one can follow, IMHO.

I am holding August calls that I will look to sell shortly after earnings. My decision got a lot easier today. I wouldn't worry about "in the money", just whether the options are worth more than you paid for them.
