Chinagate's Chung Voices New Doubts About Ron Brown's Death newsmax.com Ron Brown's death might not have been accidental. That's the conclusion Chinagate witness Johnny Chung has recently come to after he himself experienced death threats from Chinese agents. Chung was deposed on Monday by Judicial Watch, which debuted the videotaped testimony on FOX News Channel's "Hannity and Colmes" Thursday night. Former Commerce Secretary Brown died in a plane crash in Dubrovnik, Croatia on April 3, 1996 while on a U.S. trade mission to the region. Three doctors and a forensic photographer at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology say Brown had what looked like a bullet wound to his head when his body arrived at Dover Air Force Base three days later. Still, senior AFIP officials declined to have Brown autopsied, insisting instead that his .45 caliber, inwardly-beveling head wound had been caused by the plane crash. In late 1997, the four AFIP whistle blowers told their stories to Christopher Ruddy, NewsMax.com executive editor, whose reports on Brown's death for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review sent shockwaves throughout the black community. Nolanda Hill, Brown's longtime confidante and business associate, told Judicial Watch, in 1998, that Brown had decided to cooperate with investigators just days before his death and had informed President Clinton of his decision. Chung is the first Chinagate witness to openly suggest that Brown may have met with foul play. Chung's startling comments on Brown's death were made under direct questioning by Judicial Watch chairman Larry Klayman: KLAYMAN: The question was, when you learned of the death of Ron Brown, did you think that maybe China would send somebody to kill him too? CHUNG: No. No. Not in my mind that week (when Brown died). KLAYMAN: Have you since changed your view of that; that perhaps that was a possibility? CHUNG: I sense there's a possibility he know too many things. And so, something happened to him. But I don't know what it is. What happened to me -- it changed me.newsmax.com Posted for discussion and educational purposes only. Not for commercial use.
