Congrats to anyone holding TXN. I heard that they are going great
guns with DSP chips.

Andy --

As evidenced by TXN's stock price appreciation from the mid 80s to 150 has been pointing in that direction for some time. However, TXN is not the only one being rewarded for their DSP accomplishments, so is ADI, (25 - 50).

As most are aware, SSPI has a very close relationship between both DSP core chip manufacturers and apparently is able to maintain their independence while providing third party support to both companies' ultimate end user customers.

This also addresses the misconception of a buyout by someone like Boeing. Boeing is ultimately the customer of both ADI/TXN and SSPI, just as Bell Howell, Motorola, Siemens..... What would be more imaginable would be a joint venture one day between the chip manufacturers and SSPI, not the end user.

Regardless, for shareholder value, if SSPI can maintain its independence while being the premier board/software developer for core DSP chips we will all be handsomely rewarded, all IMHO.

Cheers,
Jeff

>>>>>Congrats to anyone holding TXN.

I have been in TXN for just over a year and can remember Pat's numerous posts that have helped convince me to stick with that one for the long haul. Pat's profile also had SSPI and I decided to take a shot at it on 5/14 when I picked up a small position at 2.

THANK YOU PAT..... I owe you a few beers!
