OT So if this is true it is the Options MMs that are doing the selling, perhaps as a way of making all those options expire worthless Depends on how informed the person you ask is. The more informed they are the more they say that the options MMs work in essense by a routine formula. The goal is to always stay hedged and hope to minimize risk. I still think it is most likely an outcome of the unwinding of the hedge than anything deliberate. It can take big $ to try to swing the market on a stock deliberately. Eric
