Glenn, if you're looking for corruption, you should really look towards Network Solutions. 6 months ago they agreed to a congressional demand that they give up their monopoly on .com domains, and allow .web and .info and others to be added to the root servers.

Well, for the last 6 months, Network Solutions has been telling ALL the registrars to "go f**k yourself" whenever they ask for access to the root domain files.

The conclusion that most domain specialists and sysadmins have come to is the NSOL is stalling for another 3 months until the majority of the insider option lockup window opens, and they can all retire as millionaires before having their monopoly collapse along with the stock price.
