Just some week-end thoughts....

Working a little on my letter. It's short and to the point...anyway I am trying -

I have laid out the past problem.....
All that has been accomplished to overcome those problems....
And three suggested resolutions to the current problem....

Trying to keep emotions and personal feelings out of it.... except for maybe a line of two at the end. (can't help it)

Still working on my "carbon copy" list. I will copy to my local NASD in Chicago, Texas, (where actions took place) and QUESTION: is there a main address for NASD? Local addresses for NASD are listed at wwwnasdr.com/2320.htm

For those that need some stimulation....go to www.nasdr.com/2100.htm - also 1000.asp - improper business practices.... etc.

Also, next week I will be buying my one share of Merrill Lynch stock. Actions speak louder than words at this point... and these letters will speak louder than all the posts on this board. Shareholders actually doing what we are about to do should eventually get some attention...but just talking about it will not.

Remember we are not currently requesting disciplinary or other actions against anybody at this time.... we are simply suggesting a way to resolve the apparent blockade to Midland trading by offering portions of our shares or other remedies as suggested by Gary, which will offer relief to Merrill Lynch's apparent problem. Of course...always keeping in mind that this is just our speculation that this failure to be trading by now is tied into the M/L problem. (my legal disclaimer)

Let's all stay out of legal problems on this.... we are just being "good caring shareholders" and want to help out Merrill Lynch who happens to be heavily involved in this whole story. At this point our only interest is in getting Midland trading again.

If we can get our letters out in anticipation of our one year date... and then maybe get a little blip in IBD or WSJ ....pointing to our efforts should at least show our determination to not let this die and show that if these efforts are not successful then we will have to move onto stronger measures.

I hope to post my letter Monday night. Would like to see additional ideas of exactly who to copy with these letters to reach as many interested (and non-interested) agencies as possible....and will they be more effective arriving separately or together in bulk?
