RG, in medical terms, he has what we normally call "cranium haemorogeous oxygaeum"...., in plain English, he is haemorrhaging oxygen from his brain.

The pressure being greater in his head than the atmospheric pressure outside his head results in the escape of oxygen.

The solution to this uncommon problem is to create a vacuum in his head by getting him to suck-in hot air and then taping his mouth and nostrils and other conduits. Thereby creating what is also commonly known as the Swelled Head Syndrome.
