China Hints At Flexibility In Taiwan Row By Michael Battye BEIJING (Reuters) - China showed a glimmer of flexibility toward Taiwan Friday, suggesting it might listen to Taipei's reasons for abandoning a policy that kept the peace for decades. But that little ray of hope failed to soothe investors Friday who dumped shares after reports that China might take military action.
