OT.....i have webstreet and haven't had any problems like i've read about e-trade (ok knock on wood now!)..i'm happy with them, when you need to get a broker on the phone it's not a long wait and you're right about the pennies, i haven't seen to many compete with this price...just giving you my two cents, i in no way represent this company but am happy so far...good luck....lisa :)

I have Waterhouse and Webstreet and Webstreet is far superior. The website is fast, you can enter decimals for limits, I believe $15 for unlimited but have never bought more than 100,000 at once. Getting a broker is very easy. Updating is realtime even now gives you you average cost of A stock. Realtime updating quotes (automatic) are $30 per month but free with refresh button. I have java auto update.

If you trade much NASDAQ, any trade over 1000 shares at $2+ per share is free.

Been very pleased with them and not pleased with Waterhouse. Cannot get OTC quotes at WH at all except by phone.
