I just got another 192 gallons of Premium water delivered today to my house for my kids. The handwritting is clearly on the wall in terms of the devastating impact of Y2K on the Stock Market and Civilization. Today's momentum players think they will be able to get out in time before the stock market turns South. Need they be reminded that there was a whole generation of momentum players in the 1980's who felt the same way. Boy were they shocked and horrified when Black Monday arrived in October of 1987. A friend of mine who was way over-leveraged back then (like most people today) even bought what he considered to be a temporary dip early on that day in the S@P Futures. That was his last day of trading. He could not face up to the fact that he lost 50% of his wealth. His wife had a nervous breakdown, but fortunately recovered and remarried. His Children were scarred for life. Most Investors and Traders today have no understanding or respect for Stock Market Risk. If this thread can enlighten one person and save one person's life, then it is worthwhile. It is not to late to prepare.
