Anyone else getting this:

E*TRADE Customer & Member Log On

You exceeded the maximum number of invalid login attempts. To log in again, you must exit your browser or wait 15 minutes to try again.

I wonder why I exceed the number of log in attempts...<g>

bw,

Gotta disagree with you on this one. Merrill Lynch is not going to allow thousands of trades per year for $1,500.

The quote I cited is from Merrill's own web site, and is clearly aimed to block active traders. My bet is once they finally launch this service, the restrictions will become better defined, and make it unattractive to anyone except their own customers. So Merrill will end up cannibalizing their own sales.

Merrill Lynch is a dinosaur and no threat to etrade.
